June is always our favorite month for multiple reasons! First and foremost, it's the month we get a year older, and this year, we're officially turning THREE!
When I first had the idea to create this resource, I had no clue how I was going to do it or when it would all come together. What I did know was that I asked God to guide my steps and support me in every endeavor. Three years later, here we are. While the app, the guides, and the information aren't yet at the level I ultimately envision, I am incredibly grateful for what they've become. Every recommendation, every event, every business featured has been rooted in one mission: making sure the communities and entrepreneurs who deserve your travel dollars, visibility, and support are seen.
I've never done this for personal gain. I've done it because I believe our stories matter. I believe our businesses matter. I believe our communities matter. And the fact that in June 2026 I can connect you to Black-owned businesses, comunities and events on six out of seven continents , something google still can't do, tells me I'm on the right track and building something special.
June is also Caribbean Heritage Month, and the more islands I visit, the deeper I fall in love with the region. The culture, the history, the food, the people, it's unmatched. I'm excited to share that our Black-Owned Curaçao Guide and Black-Owned Saint Martin Guide are dropping soon, and I can't wait for you to explore them.
Of course, June also means Juneteenth. As you'll quickly notice when you scroll through this month's calendar, there is no shortage of celebrations happening around the globe. We want to give a special shoutout to Ms. Opal Lee, whose tireless advocacy helped make Juneteenth a nationally recognized holiday. And to everyone who gets the day off, we see you! Take the time to celebrate, reflect, learn, and support the incredible events happening in your communities.
And finally, June means SoulFeast Week in Lexington, Kentucky , one of my favorite culinary celebrations. Created by twins Martina and Marcellous Barksdale, SoulFeast has grown into an event that keeps your plate full, your cup overflowing, and the vibes high. Watching their vision evolve over the years has been nothing short of inspiring.
So without further ado, here is your guide to Black events happening around the world this June.

Happy 3rd birthday to The ABC Travel Network! I love how the creator mentions asking God to guide their steps — it's such a heartfelt journey. I've been using https://3d-ai-generator.com
thanks for this post. instagram video download tools are really practical.
Thank you for sharing this list of events. It's always inspiring to see opportunities that celebrate culture, community, and meaningful connections around the world. Staying informed and engaged can open doors to personal and professional growth, much like the value of strong personal statement CV writing when presenting your achievements and aspirations.
I really enjoyed reading this post because it highlights how meaningful it is to celebrate culture, community, and global connections during June events. While working on a personal research project about event patterns, I once explored quantum analysis to understand how complex data can reveal hidden trends. It made me appreciate how storytelling and data both help us see communities and their impact more clearly.
